There are times when certain situations come into our lives which we are tempted to call “hopeless” or “impossible” and, as a result, we fail to intercede for those situations in prayer, yet, that is exactly what we should do. Our responsibility is to pray…to bring the “hopeless” and the “impossible” to God and leave the results up Him…to His sovereign will…to His sovereign purpose. Like Oscar Eliason wrote in his hymn “Got Any Rivers?”: “God specializes in things thought impossible and He can do what no other power can do.”

Matthew 19:26 (ESV)

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Luke 1:37

Nothing will be impossible with God.

Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

“You’re never without hope, because you’re never without prayer.” ~ Max Lucado
