Are you remembering to consistently pray for all of our leaders (1 Timothy 2:2)? Admittedly, that’s not always easy to do.  They’re not perfect (none of us are)…but God is…and we must consistently intercede for them and entrust them to HIM to do His will. In so doing, we keep our hope placed squarely and completely on Him…not them.

Psalm 130:5

I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His Word I put my hope.

Proverbs 21:1

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord;

He turns it wherever He wishes.

“Even rulers, who have fewer constraints upon them and what they can do than “ordinary” people have, are finally directed by the Creator (Prov. 21:1). They are not ultimately sovereign; God is. Kings and other national leaders can accomplish only what the Lord wills for them to accomplish.” ~ Ligonier Ministries Devotional

The Lord bless you and keep you…
