It’s true of many of us.  We get distracted from doing what we should be doing very easily. Our world is full of distractions, especially when we factor in the amazing world of electronic technology.  It’s not that it’s all wrong…just out of place at times…out of priority…and, yes, in some ways…out of control.  Worst of all, the distractions are negatively effecting our relationship with Jesus.  Let’s prayerfully consider this and make sure that Jesus is, indeed, first, and foremost, in our lives…for His honor and for His glory!

1 Corinthians 7:35 (NLT)

“I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.” ~ Paul

Colossians 1:16-18

16 For by [Jesus] all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities -all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

“Christ is PRESENT in all Christians; Christ in PROMINENT in some Christians; But in only a few Christians is Christ PREEMINENT.” ~ Unknown

The Lord bless you and keep you…
