No Christian wants to give Satan any access…any inroad…into his or her life, yet, it happens all to often, and all too easily.  The Bible says that we give him a “foothold” in our lives through the issue of unresolved anger with another person.  Anger happens. Humble yourself and get it resolved with the other person as quickly as possible and, in so doing, let the devil see that “No Trespassing” sign very clearly.

Ephesians 4:26-27

26 BE ANGRY, AND yet DO NOT SIN; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and do not give the devil a foothold.

“The longer anger remains in the human heart, the greater an opportunity, the more secure a foothold, it becomes. All the devil needs to get his foot in the door of the human heart is for us to nurture our hurt feelings, anger, or resentment. Keep short accounts; fill in the footholds; erase the sinful places from the map of your heart. Give the devil no opportunity.” ~ David Jeremiah
