God is known by many different names in the Bible.  Each one of them is very significant, meant to teach us something about Him and His relationship to man, His most precious creation.  One such name is Yahweh-Jireh.  “Yahweh” is the personal name for our God and “Jireh” is the Hebrew word for “provides”…and He certainly does provide in all ways.  God provides for our every need, including our most important need…the salvation of our souls through His personal sacrifice as “the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world.”

Philippians 4:19-20

And my God will [provide] all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
