In our worship service yesterday, we sang Dennis Jernigan’s simple worship song which declares Jesus to be our “All in all.”  Is that true of you?  As you begin another new week, is Jesus you focal point?  Is He the One to whom you look to get you through your day…the One whom you completely depend on for everything you encounter…every move you make?  If not, then that may explain why things are going the way they are.  Let Jesus be your Strength.  Let Him be the Treasure you seek.  When you’re down, let Him lift you up.  When you’re dry, let Him fill your cup.  Let Jesus be your all in all.

Psalm 27:1

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Isaiah 33:6

And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Psalm 3:3

But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, and the One who lifts my head.

Psalm 16:5

LORD, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.

Colossians 3:11

But Christ is all, and in all.

“It is only when we want to take our lives out of the Father’s hands and have them under our own control that we find ourselves gripped with anxiety. The secret of freedom from anxiety is freedom from ourselves and abandonment of our own plans. But that spirit emerges in our lives only when our minds are filled with the knowledge that our Father can be trusted implicitly to supply everything we need.” ~ Sinclair B. Ferguson

The Lord bless you and keep you…
