What is your attitude toward the Bible…toward the teaching and preaching of God’s Word?  As it’s always been, there are those who talk about issues and only sprinkle the Scriptures on like salt and pepper to fit their purpose.  And then, there are those who serve a message from the Word as the entrée that it should be…the main course…with Jesus Christ as the center of it all!  But still, those who hear must willingly come to the table…partake, and consume the meal…take it in…savor it…accept what the Word says, and apply it to their lives.

Psalm 107:8-9

8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men! 9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.

Psalm 119:33-35, 103, 129

33 Teach me, O LORD, the way of Your statutes, And I shall observe it to the end. 34 Give me understanding, that I may observe Your law And keep it with all my heart. 35 Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in it…103 How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! 104 From Your precepts I get understanding…129 Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul keeps them.
