Believers in Jesus:  We are here to serve the Lord and to serve others.  We are not here to be served or to lord anything over anyone.  There is only one Lord over all and His name is “Jesus”…and even He humbled Himself…left the splendor of heaven and came into our world…into our race…to serve, and not to be served….ultimately, to serve us to death…His death, on a cross…to pay for our sins.  Learn from the Master to be the gracious servant of all.

Matthew 23:11-12

Jesus said, 11 “The greatest among you will be your servant. 12 For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”

Mark 9:35
