“Keep on keeping on!”  Down through the years, many have issued that exhortation. It has been expressed from the mouths of preachers, through the pens of poets, and in the lyrics of song writers…but it’s origin is in the Word of God and the God of the Word.  God means it to encourage us in times of trial and hardship that tempt us to stop, sit, and quit…to urge us to press on…and to remind us that He is with us, that He has a plan for us, and that He will empower us to “keep on keeping on!”  After all…He did.  He came at Christmas.  He persevered…all the way to Calvary…to death and resurrection…finished it all…for us…for you and for me!  So, “keep on keeping on!”

Joshua 1:9

Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Philippians 1:9

And I am sure of this, that He, who began a good work in you, will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

“Did Christ finish His work for us? Then there can be no doubt but He will also finish His work in us.” ~ John Flavel

The Lord bless you and keep you…
