Committed Christians are often looked at as being radical and fanatical as they stick to living out the precepts and principles of the teachings of Jesus found in His Word, the Bible.  The Christian lives in such a way, not only because it is what is best for us, but primarily because it is best to obey Him, in order to please Him, because it is to Him, we will give our final account.

2 Corinthians 5:9

9 So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

You may be criticized by others down here for your commitment to Christ and obeying His Word, but do you really think that when you appear before Him, that Jesus will chastise you for taking Him too seriously?
