Let the Christian understand: There is never a moment that you are not in need of the power…the strength…of Almighty God working in your life. Not only in the difficult seasons of life, but even in the best of times, your need for Him is unceasing. Our prayer should be that of the old hymn:

     “I need Thee every hour, Most gracious Lord;

      No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

      I need Thee, O I need Thee; Every hour I need Thee!

      O bless me now, my Savior, I come to Thee.” ~ Annie Hawks

Psalm 62:5-8

5 My soul, wait in silence for God only,

   For my hope is from Him.

6 He only is my rock and my salvation,

   My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.

7 On God my salvation and my glory rest;

   The rock of my strength, my refuge is in God.

8 Trust in Him at all times, O people;

   Pour out your heart before Him;

   God is a refuge for us.
