“Lord: Help me grow and flourish through your Spirit as one of your righteous ones, by your grace and for your glory!” Believers in Jesus: That should be our desire. That should be our ambition. That should be our prayer.

Psalm 92:12-15

12 The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree,

     He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

13 Planted in the house of the Lord,

     They will flourish in the courts of our God.

14 They will still yield fruit in old age;

     They shall be full of sap and very green,

15 To declare that the Lord is upright;

     He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

Romans 8:14

For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

2 Peter 3:18

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
