We’ve been considering matters concerning prayer this week. What a blessing to be able to take anything and everything to God at His throne of grace. But…one more question: When we ask do we then watch and wait eagerly with hopeful expectation His answer? We should. We should be careful to watch for His answer. And then, when the answer is received, praise and thanks to the Giver should be given.

Psalm 5:3

In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice;

In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.

“So wake the hope that slumbers in my soul

Stir the fire inside and make it glow

I’m trusting in a love that has no end

The Savior of this world has called me friend

And I, I’ve been invited with the Son

Oh I, I’ve been invited to come and…

Believe the unbelievable

Receive the inconceivable

And see beyond our wildest imagination

Lord, we come with great expectations.”

~ Steven Curtis Chapman, “Great Expectations”

The Lord bless you and keep you…
