Some final thoughts for the Christmas season…

John 1:14, 18

14 And [Jesus] the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth…18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

John 14:7-9

7 “If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.” 8 Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father.”

Matthew 11:28-30

Jesus said…28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

“The name ‘Immanuel’ means ‘God with us,’ for Jesus came uniquely to show us how God would live among us. He came to show us how God lives, thinks, feels, decides, knows, and loves. When we see Him, we see God. We also see the One who alone can bring us into God’s presence. This Christmas enjoy the presence of God that Jesus came to provide. He will go with us and give us rest.” ~ David Jeremiah

The Lord bless you and keep you…
