Christmas should always be for us a time of awe, wonder, adoration, and worship.  It will be, as long as we keep in mind Who the Christ of Christmas really is: “Immanuel”…”God with us.”  Jesus was, and is, eternal God…Creator of all…Who, then, miraculously entered into His creation…to serve His creation…to seek and to save His lost ones…to redeem them and reconcile them to Himself through the free gift of eternal life that only comes through Him.  O come, let us adore Him…Christ, the Lord!

Galatians 4:4-5

4 But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, 5 to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.

John 1:12-13

12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
