One of the most radical spiritual transformations that we see in the Bible is that of the Pharisee named Saul into the Apostle of Jesus, whom we call Paul. What a mighty work of God…and He wants to do that same kind of work in us. If you’re saved by the grace of God through faith in Christ, then you know…or you need to know…that God saved you to change you. He wants to transform you into a new and different person than the one you used to be. God wants to transform you into a person who looks and acts more and more like His Son, Jesus, each and every day.

2 Corinthians 5:17

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

Romans 8:29-30

29 For those whom [God] foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son.

Romans 12:2

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
