There is no greater privilege than to be a servant of the King of kings and Lord of lords and, as believers in Jesus, that is what we are. But our Master and Savior has chosen to call us “friends.” What a humbling thing…to be the friend of the Son of God. What a life with such a Friend!

John 15:13-15 (NKJV)

[Jesus said to them,]13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends.
