Many of us are familiar with the simple little chorus, “God is So Good.” That’s basically the gist of it: “God is so good. God is so good. God is so good; He’s so good to me.” That’s completely true and the Scriptures back it up. Here are just a few of them from the book of Psalms to tuck into your minds and to take along with you as you go into your day…

Psalm 33:5

[The LORD] loves righteousness and justice;

The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

Psalm 34:8

O taste and see that the LORD is good;

How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

Psalm 107:8-9

Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Psalm 145:9

The LORD is good to all,

And His mercies are over all His works.
