Many of us who are “north of 55” had parents who planted gardens. Some of you even grew up on grain farms where serious sowing, growing and harvesting were a way of life. If you were one who experienced that process, then you likely learned much about the need for patience in that process. You plant the seeds and you…wait. From seed to harvest takes…time.

Some 2000 years ago, Jesus promised that He would return to receive all who have trusted in Him and take us home to heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). He will keep His promise…maybe even today! Until then…full of faith and hope…we must patiently watch and wait…and pray. Jesus is coming soon!

James 5:7-8

7 Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. 8 You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.

Revelation 22:20

20 [Jesus,] who testifies to these things, says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

The Lord bless you and keep you…
