When we encounter a person in uniform, or someone whom we know has served in the military in the past, many of us say, “Thank you for your service.”  Every believer in Jesus Christ hopes to, one day, receive similar words of commendation from the Lord and Master, Himself.

Matthew 25:23

“His Master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your Master.'”
