Grace: Freely giving someone something that they absolutely do not deserve. That’s what God has done, and continues to do, for us, by giving us salvation through faith in His Son, Jesus, who died for us to pay for our sins.  Mercy: Lovingly NOT giving somebody something what they absolutely do deserve. That’s what God shows us, and will continue to show to us, by not condemning us to eternity in Hell…again, because of our trust in what Jesus has done for us.  Thankfully, God continually gives us His grace and mercy every day of our lives! It’s ongoing. He’ll never stop!  Add that to your “Thanksgiving” list.

Psalm 32:1-2 (NLT)

1 Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! 2 Yes, what joy for those whose record the LORD has cleared of guilt.

Psalm 103:8 & 10

8 The LORD is compassionate and gracious…10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

2 John 1:3

Grace, mercy and peace will continue to be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

“There is a difference between grace and mercy. Mercy is the decision of God not to punish us. But grace is the decision of God to save and bless us.” ~ Max Lucado

The Lord bless you and keep you…
