“Be gentle.”  Those words are often uttered in a quiet voice…almost a whisper.  They are spoken in different circumstances.  They are spoken by the mother of a newborn, to a sibling who has come for a first visit and is about to hold the baby for the first time.  Brothers and sisters in Christ should be reminded to do the same in the way we approach one another as well. Be gentle.

Galatians 6:1

Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness.

Philippians 4:5

Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.

“I choose gentleness… Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I raise my voice may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.” ~ Max Lucado

The Lord bless you and keep you…
