In life, there’s “hearing”…and then there’s “listening.”  Like when someone asks you to do something, you say you will, but you don’t.  You heard the words, but your mind was elsewhere, and even though you responded, you weren’t really listening.  Regrettably, that happens with us sometimes.  However, that never happens with God!  You pray…He hears….He listens…and He acts.

1 Peter 3:12

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer.
