Sometimes hard questions need to be asked…downright confrontational questions…questions like this one:  You may be a Christian, but what kind of a Christian are you?  What I mean is, are you a Christian who desires to be a “doorway” to faith in Christ for those who have not yet trusted in Jesus?  Or are you blocking the door with a confusing lifestyle that doesn’t exactly promote Jesus as God and Savior?  Please…don’t block the door…be a doorway to Jesus.

Matthew 5:13-16

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; 15 nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Philippians 1:27

Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.

“There are a lot of Christians who are halfway fellows. They stand in the door, holding on to the Church with one hand while they play with the toys of the world with the other. They are in the doorway and we can’t bring sinners in.” ~ Mordecai Ham

The Lord bless you and keep you…
