Some people never feel like the ever have enough.  No matter how much they have, they just crave more.  Contentment escapes them.  That’s a very unsettled way to live.  The reality is that Jesus wants us to be content with what we have…because what we have is what He provides…which really is enough.  Find your contentment in Him.

Philippians 4:11-13

11  I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

1 Timothy 6:6-8

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that.

“There are two ways to get enough. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.” ~ G.K. Chesterton
