I have to admit it…I’m a foodie. People who know me well…especially those who have shared a meal with me, know that I enjoy food. I savor every morsel, especially if it’s what they call “comfort food!”  Our God knows a great deal about comfort.  He knows when we need comfort…whatever the reason…and God is there with it…giving it to us…in His perfect timing…His abundant comfort…comfort that you can then share with others!

2 Corinthians 1:2-5

2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
