To say that there’s a lot going on in the world today is an understatement.  Everything is hard to keep up with.  Much of what’s going on is stressful and causes great concern.  We can’t stick our heads in the sand, but, Christian friend…don’t let the affairs of this fallen world…distract you from Who is most important.  The One who matters most…is Jesus…look to His light (for, indeed, He is “The Light of the world”) and His truth (because He is “The Truth”).  Hope in God, for He is your help!

Psalm 43:3-5

God of my strength…3 O send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Your holy hill And to Your dwelling places. 4 Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And upon the lyre I shall praise You, O God, my God. 5 Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

John 8:12

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
