God created us to thirst.  Every day we thirst and throughout the day, we seek to quench that thirst.  The experts tell us that we need to quench that thirst, primarily, with the natural thirst quencher, also created by God: water…good old H2O.  Many try to quench their thirst with cheap, and even unhealthy, substitutes in liquid form…but nothing is better, and better for you, than water.  God also created us to thirst, spiritually, and He, Himself is the only true Quencher for that thirst.  Many try to quench it with cheap substitutes, but only God can quench that thirst deep within.  Only God.

Psalm 42:1-2

1 As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. 2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?

Psalm 107:8-9

8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness, And for His wonders to the sons of men! 9 For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.
