As you read this, it may be very early in the morning. However, you may already be thinking about tomorrow…worrying about something that is supposed to happen tomorrow…or just might happen tomorrow.  Our persistent question is, “What if…?”  No matter what, understand: getting worked up about tomorrow, over which we have absolutely NO control, isn’t what we should be doing.  Morning, noon, or night…giving our “tomorrows” to God, and focusing on Him…seeking HIm…accomplishing His will and purpose for us…in the present…is where our hearts and our heads should be.

Matthew 6:31-34

31 “Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ 32 “For the [unbelievers] eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 “So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

“I’m convinced that one of the best things God does for us is to keep us from knowing what will happen beyond today. Just think of all the stuff you didn’t have to worry about just because you never knew it was coming your way!” ~ Charles Swindoll

The Lord bless you and keep you….
