God wants us to be at peace.  Jesus wants us to have His peace.  The Bible is saturated with words of peace, and therefore, these daily missives have been as well.  There’s no escaping it. We need His peace and He wants to grant it to us…wants it to cover us like a nice, warm blanket of security…His security.

Of course, Satan wants to destroy that peace…wants to create peace-killing circumstances around us and within us at anytime, day or night.  But God is greater…and Jesus is the Lord of all…the Lord of peace…and nothing, no one, not even Satan can separate us from Him…His love…or His peace.  Ask.  Receive.  He’ll provide.

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 14:27

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!

“Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!” ~ Warren Cornell

The Lord bless you…and give you peace,
