“May I have your attention, please?”  Those words signal that a very important, significant, announcement is about to be given.  For a number of months, that question has been “voiced” inaudibly, but unmistakably, by God.  Has He been given your attention?  Are you listening?  If we haven’t already, we should stop and, in our hearts, reply, like young Samuel did, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening” (1 Samuel 3:10).  Then open your Bible, read, and listen.

Amos 4:13

He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals His thoughts to man, He who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth–the LORD God Almighty is His name.

“When Christ reveals Himself there is satisfaction in the slenderest portion, and without Christ there is emptiness in the greatest fullness.” ~ Alexander Grosse
