2 Corinthians 4:6

For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Colossians 1:13-14

13 For [God, the Father] rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
