Most believers in Jesus know and understand that there is often a cost that comes with obeying our Lord…a consequence, if you will. Many people see “consequences” as negative things…but we must understand that consequences can also be very positive things…blessings from the Lord, as a result of obedience to the Lord. No matter what the perceived consequence may be to you if you obey Christ, know this: Obeying Him is ALWAYS the best and only thing to do.

Matthew 28:19-20

[Jesus said,] “19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to obey ALL that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

John 13:17

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

John 14:15 & 21

[Jesus said,] 15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments…21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.
