God wants us to be kind to one another, so much so that kindness is among the fruitful manifestations that the Holy Spirit produces in our lives as believers in Jesus (Galatians 5:22). In times like these and in a world so filled with hatred and hostility, we must be diligent to show God’s kindness in word and in deed.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you? But to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God.

1 Corinthians 13:4b

Love is…kind.

Ephesians 4:31-32 (LSB)

31 Let all bitterness and anger and wrath and shouting and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Instead, be kind to one another, tender-hearted, graciously forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has graciously forgiven you.

“Kindness is a readiness to do good, to help, to relieve burdens, to be useful, to serve, to be tender, and to be sympathetic to others. It has been said, ‘Kindness is love in work clothes.'” ~ Alexander Strauch

The Lord bless you and keep you…
