The Bible is packed with so many precious promises made by God to the believer in Jesus. The question is: Do we trust Him to keep them? Will we say, along with the Apostle Paul, “I believe God!” (Acts 27:25)? Dr. R.C. Sproul once said, “It is one thing to believe in God; it is quite another to believe God.” Today, and every day, let’s believe God! Let’s trust Him completely! Let’s take Him at His Word!

Jeremiah 17:7

Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD.

Romans 15:13

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 1:1-4

1 Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who have received a faith of the same kind as ours, by the righteousness of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; 3 seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. 4 For by these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises.

“‘Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus, Just to take Him at His Word,

Just to rest upon His promise, Just to know: ‘Thus saith the Lord.’

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him! How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!

Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus! O for grace to trust Him more!” ~ Louisa Snead

The Lord bless you and keep you…
