Christian: Do you remember the day you trusted in Jesus as Savior? What a day, right? Best day ever! However…do you realize that you weren’t the only one rejoicing. Jesus said that there was a thunderous outbreak of rejoicing “in the presence of the angels of God” over your salvation. That was God…rejoicing over you becoming His child through faith in His Son. Once you were lost in sin…but on that day, the lost was found…and He took you in…rejoicing!
Luke 15:8-10
8 “Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Does she not light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? 9 And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, `Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Zephaniah 3:17
“The Lord your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will exult over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.”
