As we come to the end of the week, a question: How has God been working in your life? He has promised those who have trusted in His Son, Jesus, that He will be constantly working through all the details of our lives for His good…and ours…in the process of transforming and conforming us into the image of His Son. Of course, we must work with Him in obedience to His Word, cooperating with Him in His work in us. As lyricist, Ralph Hudson wrote in the hymn, “I’ll Live for Him”: “O Thou who died on Calvary, To save my soul and make me free; I’ll consecrate my life to Thee, My Savior and my God.”

Romans 8:28-29

28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son.

Romans 12:1-2

1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

“We become like what we focus upon. Fix your eyes upon Christ and be conformed to His image.” ~ Steven J. Lawson

The Lord bless you and keep you…
