“You’ve been replaced.” That’s usually not good news to most people. However, that’s great news when it comes to spiritual things. Every member of the human race is completely sinful and therefore unacceptable to God and only worthy of death. But the good news is: we’ve been replaced…replaced by Jesus. Jesus took our place on the cross of Calvary. Jesus took the punishment for our sin. He died for us…died for you…died for me! Paid the debt to set us free! We’ve been replaced! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord who loved us so!

Romans 5:6-8

6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16-17

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

” ‘Twas here the debt was paid! Hallelujah, hallelujah!

Our sins on Jesus laid! Hallelujah, hallelujah!
