Every day the Christian faces the ever-challenging difficulty of living a life of godliness in a culture that is rapidly becoming more ungodly and immoral. The pressure on us to sinfully compromise is, at times, relentless. At such times, the exhortation of J.B. Phillips’ translation of Romans 12:2 comes to mind: “Don’t let the world around you squeeze you into its mold.” Turn away from the world’s enticements and turn instead to your God, His Word, His ways and His will for your life. He will strengthen you!

Ephesians 6:10
