“He’s sure a chip off the old block.” People would often say that when comparing a son to his father when the resemblance was strikingly similar. The same thing should be true of us. As children of God, with every passing day, we should be reflecting, more and more, a striking resemblance to His Son, our Lord Jesus. When others see us, they should be seeing the likeness of Jesus in us.

Romans 8:29

For those whom [God] foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son.

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
