Many in our nation come to this Memorial Day weekend having experienced what others have never endured…the loss of a loved one in the line of duty, protecting and serving us, our country, and those in other countries. Let’s give thanks for both those who served and whose lives have been preserved, as well as those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Let us also pray for those who are serving even now.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

… in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.” ~ Gen. George S. Patton

The Lord bless you and keep you…
