Monarch butterflies are very interesting creations of God. Most Monarchs only live 2 to 6 weeks, but the final generation of the summer can live 8-9 months. That final generation will then migrate thousands of miles every fall to their winter breeding grounds in central Mexico. In doing so, the first-timers follow the exact “path” that their ancestors took before them. Spiritually speaking, those who follow Jesus should desire to live lives of godly faithfulness…examples worthy of being followed…a desire expressed in the chorus of Jon Mohr’s Christian song, “Find Us Faithful”…

     “Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful.

      May the fire of our devotion light their way.

      May the footprints that we leave lead them to believe;

      And the lives we live inspire them to obey.

      Oh, may all who come behind us find us faithful.”

Titus 2:7-8
