If you ever performed in a drama or musical production in high school then you know the importance of what they call the “dress rehearsal.” It takes place on the night before the first official performance and every aspect of the production is carried out as though it were an actual performance. The life of a Christian on earth is, in a sense, a dress rehearsal for life in heaven, in which we will be focused on worshipping Jesus, our Savior and King. Come, let us worship the LORD!

Psalm 95:5-7

6 Come, let us worship and bow down, Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. 7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand.

Psalm 96:6-9

6 Splendor and majesty are before [the LORD], Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. 7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name; Bring an offering and come into His courts. 9 Worship the LORD in holy attire; Tremble before Him, all the earth.

“I can safely say, on the authority of all that is revealed in the Word of God, that any man or woman on this earth who is bored and turned off by worship is not ready for heaven.” ~ A.W. Tozer

The Lord bless you and keep you…
