How about a change in direction? Instead of looking forward to the year ahead, how about an honest look backward to reflect on the year that has passed and evaluate your progress…especially your spiritual progress. It can only serve to strengthen us for the year ahead. And…again…be sure to invite the Lord’s input in that evaluation as well.
