In Phillips Brooks’ beautiful Christmas carol, “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” the first verse ends with the words, “The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.”  Of course, those fears were met and conquered by the Person born on that night in that little town…Jesus. This Jesus, our Savior, is, indeed, our risen and Living Hope who can remove all fear.

Psalm 118:6

The LORD is for me; I will not fear; What can man do to me?

1 Peter 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

“Let’s remember that the hope of Jesus overcame the fears of all the years. Because of Jesus we can release our fears, anxieties, apprehensions, and nervous sorrows.” ~ David Jeremiah

The Lord bless you and keep you…
