‘Tis the season! And, while Christians understand the true reason for “the Season,” we still get caught up in the hustle and bustle of “all things” Christmas. That can generate stress, which can also generate, among other things, worry. We’re clearly told, in Scripture, not to worry…about anything…for any reason…at anytime.  We’re also instructed what to do instead.

Matthew 6:25, 33-34

Jesus said…25 “I say to you, do not be worried about your life…33 But seek first [the Father’s] kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things (that you need) will be added to you. 34 So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Philippians 4:6-7

“Do not be anxious/worried about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

“These six words form the foundation of God’s therapeutic process for all worrywarts. WORRY ABOUT NOTHING, PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING!” ~ Chuck Swindoll

The Lord bless you and keep you…
