It’s Friday!  That means that the weekend is here.  I remember that, as a kid, I would live for the weekend…no school for two whole days! Most Saturdays were a day to just do whatever my friends and I wanted to do. However, Sunday was different. I grew up in a Christian home and Sunday meant “Church”…a couple of hours in the morning, then back on Sunday night for another hour or more. I wasn’t a Christian back then so “Church” wasn’t my favorite thing…but I didn’t have an option not to go. I’m a believer in Jesus now…since my 18th year…and since that day, church is where I want to be.  It’s where my true, spiritual, family gathers every Sunday, and then some…to worship God and His Son, Jesus, our Savior and Lord, together…and to help each other grow in our relationship with Him. If you’re a Christian you need to be with your family…on Sunday!

Hebrews 10: 23-25

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; 24 and let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day of Christ’s return drawing near.”

“Are you intimately involved in your church—stirring and being stirred by fellow believers? It’s God’s plan for your spiritual growth. ” ~ David Jeremiah

The Lord bless you and keep you…
