Media…especially visual media, holds a powerful grip on much of our world today…on adults, yes, but on the young and impressionable as well.  The Psalmist had no TV, nor movies, nor computers, etc. to put before his eyes in his day, but Scripture is timeless and it’s application for the present must be made.  Seek and use godly discernment and look out for the welfare of the young!

Psalm 101:3

3 I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me.

1 Thessalonians 5:21-22

21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every form of evil.

“Discernment is not a matter of simply telling the difference between right and wrong; rather it is telling the difference between right and almost right.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
