Jesus ministered diligently and, often, for long hours. However, as the Creator, He understood the human need for periods of rest and restoration…which, as a true human, He practiced…and taught His followers to do so as well.

Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, [Jesus] said to them, “Come with Me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
