There is a time when grief comes to call in everyone’s life.  The grief can, at times, seem overwhelming…but with God, and only with God, the grief is bearable. Our God is our unfailing source of comfort…and strength…and peace…and so, we must turn to Him, and turn to nothing or no one less than Him. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Job 5:7-11

7 For man is born for trouble, As sparks fly upward from a fire. 8 But as for me, I would seek God, And I would place my cause before God; 9 Who does great and unsearchable things, Wonders without number. 10 He gives rain on the earth And sends water on the fields, 11 So that He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety.

Romans 15:13

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

“In the midst of the awesomeness, a touch comes, and you know it is the right hand of Jesus Christ. You know it is not the hand of restraint, correction, nor chastisement, but the right hand of the Everlasting Father. Whenever His hand is laid upon you, it gives inexpressible peace and comfort, and the sense that “underneath are the everlasting arms,” (Deuteronomy 33:27) full of support, provision, comfort and strength.” ~ Oswald Chambers

The Lord bless you and keep you…
